Hardin County and Fort Knox are home to the largest office complex in the state – the Human Resource Center of Excellence.

Dedicated and memorialized on May 27th of 2010, the Maude complex boast nearly 900,000 square feet of office space. The state-of-the-art facility is home to the U.S. Army Accessions Command and U.S. Army Human Resources Command. It is named for LTG Timothy J. Maude, the G1 of the ARMY, who lost his life in the 9-11 attack on the Pentagon.
