Hardin County is home to the Schmidt Museum of Coca Cola Memorabilia – the largest private collection of Coca Cola memorabilia in the nation.

The museum was started in 1976 and is now housed in a 32,000 sq. ft. facility that opened in May 2006. The collection is displayed over 8,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space and includes antique Coca-Cola® delivery vehicles, turn of the Century bottling works, vending machines, toys, bottle displays, signs, expanded Santa exhibit and the only known, complete collection of classic Coca-Cola® serving trays.
